18

Couldn't be more blessed and grateful
to be this boy's Mother!

He was a long anticipated addition to the family....
the first Brown boy after three girls,
the first Clark grandson after 9 granddaughters.

We were madly in love with all 8 lbs and 6 oz of him
AND
his sisters adored him from the first second they saw him!

Clark's Blessing Day
October 1995

Not much has changed...
his sisters still can't get enough of him

and now he has a younger, bigger brother
that thinks the world of him, too!

Oh BOY, did we have dreams and expectations
for OUR little guy
AND GUESS WHAT?!

He has not disappointed...
the dreams we had for him have paled
in comparison to what he has accomplished
and what he is becoming!

Love this kid more than words can express!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARK!
or C-Breezy as some like to call him!

SealFit 20X Challenge

For weeks, the night of July 31st was looming.
Some how, Clark just had to get through it...
an all night, 12 hour, boot camp training by the Navy Seals.

It was mandatory football training,
and our team was the first high school team to endure the torture.

Required uniform:
White T-shirt with name and number
brown camouflage pants
Clark's before picture
Brown #31

It was a closed practice, NO parents allowed!
Curt and I drove by the school at about 10:30pm to see if we could catch a peek.
Nope!
They had the boys on the back fields out of view of any spectators.

At about 3:00am they did the "Murph"
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1 mile run

The drill is named after Navy Lt. Michael Murphy,
who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005.

Clark finished in 39 minutes,
the first out of 70 to come in,
and 8 minutes before the 2nd guy finished
The end of a long night!
They all survived and admitted it was a cool experience...
BUT not one they want to repeat!

After the showers and ready for a big, hot breakfast

First Day of School

Can't believe summer is over
and it is back to the grind!

 Clark
Senior at Mountain View
Weight Training, Seminary, English 101, AP Statistics, AP Government and Sports
will take up ALL of his time.

Bennett
Sophomore at Mountain View
His morning begins bright and early for 5:30AM swim practice!
English, Algebra II, Seminary, Chemistry, Computers, Social Studies and Sports
make for a very busy schedule for this guy!

Of course, this BIG DOG misses Bennett's love and attention while he is at school.

I guess we are all in for a few adjustments this year!
