Katie Heads to Calgary!

We know her as Katie,
but for the next 18 months she will be wearing the badge of Sister Davis!

Katie was set apart tonight as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She will report to the Provo MTC tomorrow to begin her mission to Canada Calgary.

This girl is amazing and has an amazing story.
She is going to work miracles in Calgary!

We now have two of our girls serving missions!

We missed having Haley with us soooooo much!
Haley was landing in Lima, Peru at the exact time that Katie was being set apart!
I don't find that to be a coincidence, just a tender mercy and sweet example
of how their two lives have been intertwined through the years.

It was special to have Katie's sister, Anna, and her husband, Logan attend the setting apart.

Katie and best friend Sarah, who will be off on her own adventure this September,
as she begins an internship in Italy for the State Department!

Grandpa and Grandma Clark were also invited to attend.
Grandpa was able to give Katie her patriarchal blessing several months ago.

President Robinson is one of Katie's biggest fans!

The awesome Stradling Family, who also claims Katie as one of their own!

Katie gave her farewell talk on Sunday in the Evergreen Ward.
It was awesome!

Until we meet again...We love you Sister Davis!

Road Trip to the MTC

Haley said good-bye to Brett, Tia and Landon on Monday night.

Haley said this was the hardest good-bye of all...she loves her little Lando!

Cassidy had to leave early for school and didn't stick around for a picture!
I am so bummed!

After all the good-byes, it was time to hit the road.
We loved seeing the snow at Jacob's Lake

Although it was a very quick trip,
it was a great way to spend our last day with Haley.

We sure love that girl of ours!

Easter

We began our Easter celebration on Saturday with our traditional Easter Egg Hunt.
We decided a couple of years ago to replace candy filled eggs with money.
Not surprisingly, the kids LOVE this tradition!

Lining up to get a good start...every second counts!

This year we hid the eggs in Grandpa & Grandma's front yard.
We needed some new hiding places!

Haley was the lucky bunny to find the "golden egg"!
Missionary blessings!

Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 was Haley's farewell talk.
She spoke in her YSA ward, along with Elder Jim Wright (area authority).

Haley did an awesome job and we are so appreciative of all the family and friends
who took the time to come support her.
Cousin Kyle reports to the Provo MTC the same day as Haley.
He will be serving in the West Indies Mission.

This could be the last family picture for 6 years....(insert quiet sobs)

 Tyler, Brett and Cameron

So fun that Kyle and Haley's farewells were on the same day...
Cousin Jerry, Jessica and cute kids were here from Germany!

Can't wait to see who will grow the most in the next 18 months!

Clint, Debbie and Family

 Grandpa and Grandma Clark

Carson and Jen with 3 of their 5 cute kids

Uncle Carson, Dad and Uncle Clint
Can  you tell they are brothers?

Just some of the AWESOME FAMILY and FRIENDS
that attended Haley's Farewell
