Summer Check Ups

Summer is always the time for dental check ups!

It makes me feel like such a good Mom when that is checked off the list!

I am happy to announce that we were cavity free this year!

Yea for electric toothbrushes and flossing!

I wasn't able to go to Cassidy and Bennett's appointment,

but they rewarded themselves with a trip to 5 Guys afterwards and this is the picture they sent me!

 Can't believe that the next time Clark goes to the dentist

it will be for his MISSION PAPERS!!!!

I love walking into our dentist's office, SYNERGY DENTAL,

to see this beautiful face hanging on the wall!

I'll admit, it tugged at my heart strings!

Road Trip to the MTC

Haley said good-bye to Brett, Tia and Landon on Monday night. 

 Haley said this was the hardest good-bye of all...she loves her little Lando!

Cassidy had to leave early for school and didn't stick around for a picture!

I am so bummed!

After all the good-byes, it was time to hit the road.

We loved seeing the snow at Jacob's Lake

Although it was a very quick trip,
it was a great way to spend our last day with Haley.

We sure love that girl of ours!

Hermana Brown

Haley was set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

on Sunday, April 7, 2013.

It was a special and sacred occasion and one that we will never forget.

It was an amazing blessing and the perfect way to send this Hermana out into the world!

Good - Bye Part 3

One of Cassidy's best friends left this morning to begin her service as a missionary.

She entered the Provo MTC ready to begin learning the Swedish language.

She is headed to Stockholm Sweden in just six short weeks!

Haley and friends headed to their spot...BJ's for a final get together before Madi left.

This group is shrinking by the week!

Easter Pageant Angels

Haley and Cassidy have been participating in the Easter Pageant this year.  

It has been a great way for Haley to spend her last few weeks at home

before she reports on her mission.

We participated in it as a family in 2008 and it was awesome!

A huge time commitment, but we had an incredible experience.

I can't watch the pageant now without having 

all of those feelings of being in the cast come flooding back. 

We recite the narration, sing the songs, listen for the ques,

 and remember how amazing it was to be back stage

 and watch the crucifixion and garden scenes.

Curt played an apostle, Tia an angel, Bennett was a young shepherd who got to hold the lamb,

and the rest of us were multitude people.

 This year Haley and Cassidy are both angels!

Their performance takes place up on the roof of the stage.

The are in the birth, resurrection and finale scenes.

 One of the favorite parts of being in the cast 

is mingling with the crowd before the show begins.

It is fun to see friends, as well as meet lots of new people,

many of which want to take a picture with you!

Savannah is outta here!

Reporting today to the Provo MTC to begin her service as a missionary

in the Richmond Virginia Mission (Spanish speaking)!

Madi is next and then in 4 weeks...

I can't even think about it!

Good-Bye Part 1

It is really happening...

Haley and her friends are beginning to leave on their missions.

Makaelee is the first.

She reported February 27th to the Provo MTC 

to serve in the Washington DC North Mission and the DC Temple Visitor's Center.

These two have been the best of friends and were even in the same preschool class!

We miss her already, but she is going to do wonderful things!

Can't wait to hear all about the experiences these girls will have.

Cousin Love!

Haley has made a "Pre-Marital Bucket List".

She has already checked off the list...skydiving and a trip to Hawaii.

Visiting Washington DC was also on the list and conveniently cousin Kimberly is living there!

Cassidy has been having withdrawls from cousins Katie and Abbey,

so over President's Day, she made a quick trip up to Provo

 on the new route by Allegant Air.

Katie's Mission Call

A year and a half ago, Haley's wonderful friend Katie was baptized.

She was golden and it was a beautiful occasion to see her join the church.

She has been a strong and faithful member...

 serving as a Primary Teacher, attending Institute and Mission Prep Classes, 

speaking in Stake Conference and now as a newly called missionary!

We were honored to have Katie open her mission call at our home among family and friends.

Although Katie is the only member of the church in her family,

we were so happy that her family could be in attendance as she opened her call.
