It was six years on January 13th since Grandpa Chuck Brown passed away.
Madison and Braden looking on...

Isaac and Haley...
and Grandma Charlene with the grandkids that were able to come...

We miss you Grandpa, but your lessons, stories and endearing quirks live on through your children and grandchildren!

I can't believe it has been that long either. I remember thinking at his funeral that his life was what life is all about. . .being a good, honest person who loved his family and treated everyone with kindness. Nohing else really matters. And his kids certainly paid him a wonderful tribute that day.
What a wonderful tradition! I love the picture of Grandma Charlene with so many of her cute grandchildren! Chuck and Charlene continue to be great examples of wonderful parents and grandparents-- they always made us feel a part of the family.
Oh, Alison! I'm so glad you posted pictures of this. I had a baptism at that same time, so I couldn't make it. Note to self: if I miss any family thing in the future, check out the Brown Family blog, and I was practically there!
